THE PLIGHT OF THE YANOMAMI

EXTERNAL IMPACTS
The external impacts on the Yanomami is what is destroying the tribe and helping the tribe from the outside world.
POSITIVE IMPACTS
There are very few positve external impacts on the tribe. The only good external impact is the airforce is coming in and setting up camps to help the Yanomami by setting up hospitals and doctor practices to try and cure the disease the miners are giving the Yanomami.
NEGATIVE IMPACTS
The main negative impacts on the Yanomami is the gold mining. Disease is also another problem. The gold miners are coming in and destroying the Yanomami's land in some horrific cases killing them with guns. At first the Yanomami welcomed the miners but now they fear them as they ruin their supplys and crops.
